KINGS BAY, Ga. (Feb. 02, 2024) Rear Adm. Thomas “T.R.” Buchanan, commander, Submarine Group Ten, welcomes Republic of Korea Chief of Naval Operations, Adm. Yang Yong-mo to Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia. During the counterpart visit, Yang and Buchanan discussed submarine capabilities, maritime security cooperation, interoperability, readiness and toured Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine, USS Alaska (SSBN 732).
