YOKOSUKA, Japan (Jan. 26, 2024) United States Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (USNMRTC) Yokosuka Commanding Officer, CAPT. T. Blair Hines briefs Executive Officer for The Assistant Director, Healthcare Administration, Defense Health Agency (DHA), COL Pamela D. Smith, United States Air Force during her visit to United States Naval Hospital Yokosuka. COL Smith and a team of DHA personnel are evaluating military medical treatment facility (MTF) capabilities in Japan to determine what services are needed to best support the beneficiary population and provide access to emergency and trauma health care. The comprehensive Business Case Analysis, which will be coordinated with the military services, will be provided to the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness by March 2024.
