Sam Whitin, the director of Coastal Resilience at EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, discusses ways to increase the resilience of Marine Corps resources using nature-based solutions during a meeting with members representing Marstel-Day, Jacobs, Environmental Compliance and Protection Division, and Marine Corps Base Hawaii staff through the Engineering with Nature program at MCBH, Jan. 30, 2024. The main efforts of the project will be to improve coastal resilience while maintaining beach training abilities at Marine Corps Training Area Bellows and Pu’uloa Range Training Facility.
