Local members in the Jewish community to include those from the 48th Fighter Wing participated in the Holocaust Memorial ceremony at the Abbey Gardens in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, on Jan. 26, 2024. The site is host to the annual Holocaust Memorial ceremony where this year Tech. Sgt. Benjamin Cohen, non-commissioned officer in charge of Occupational Safety and the base’s Jewish lay leader along with several local Jewish community members and others of faith spoke and recited poems and prayers for victims of the Holocaust.
