Nordhaus, commander, Continental U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command Region-1st Air Force (Air Forces Northern and Air Forces Space) (left), visited the 140th Wing, Buckley Space Force Base, Aurora, Colorado Nov. 30, 2023. Nordhaus engaged in meetings with unit leadership about wing operations, assessed readiness, toured critical facilities, and met the mission-essential Citizen-Airmen on duty in the 140th Wing’s North American Aerospace Defense Command Aerospace Control Alert section, Operations Group, and Command Post.
