(Jan. 22, 2024) Connor Robertson (left) and Chase Amos, two high school students from Advanced Technology Center’s Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering course in Virginia Beach, cycle a M61A1 20-millimeter gatling gun while touring Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 106 “Gladiators” hangars and facilities at Naval Air Station Oceana. Robertson and Amos won the first-ever Naval Air Force Atlantic (AIRLANT) essay contest where they were provided an opportunity to join AIRLANT’s Force Master Chief Jimmy W.
