The Delaware National Guard hosted the 23rd Annual Senior Leader Conference at Delaware State University, Dover Del., Jan. 6, 2024. Leadership from the Delaware Army and Air National Guard gathered for leadership development, a look into the State’s legislative priorities, time to network, share successes, and coordinate efforts for the upcoming year. In addition to DNG leadership, Delaware Governor John Carney, Senator Tom Carper, and Senator Chris Coons addressed the participants. Congresswoman Lisa Blunt-Rochester sent a video for the force.
This year’s conference keynote speaker Major General Matteo Martemucci, US Cyber Command, discussed the importance of utilizing the talents of new recruits to combat future cyber threats and the importance of artificial intelligence.
Congratulations to the 2024 Lt. Gen. Clarence E. Atkinson and the Maj. Gen. George K. Hastings Training Excellence Award Winners.
