Master Sgt. Gregory Pflugh, a saxophonist and audio engineer for the Flight One ensemble assigned to the United States Air Force Band of Flight, plays the saxophone during a concert for New Castle High School at New Castle, Pennsylvania, March 8, 2023. Flight One is a versatile and energetic group of active-duty Air Force musicians that performs a mix of classic rock and roll, the top hits of today, and everything in between. The ensemble supported the Air Force’s recruiting efforts by touring through the 311th Recruiting Squadron’s area of responsibility, covering eight school districts and performing for hundreds of students. During performances, they shared their experiences and opportunities provided by the Air Force, while answering any questions students may have about joining the military.
