231220-N-IW069-1008 REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE (Dec. 20, 2023) Sailors assigned to Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) receive an award for playing in a soccer match against Jollilads Football Club Singapore during a community relations event. USS Carl Vinson is in the Republic of Singapore for a port visit, supporting operational readiness and regional partnerships. Vinson is the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 1 and deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
