Staff Sgt. Daquan Gay, from the 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, is awarded the 2nd Infantry Division/Republic of Korea-U.S. Combined Division Career Counselor of the Year, Staff Sgt. William Bussy, from the 2nd Infantry Division Artillery, won the 2ID/RUCD Senior Career Counselor of the Year, and Staff Sgt. Jung Sik Lee, from the 2nd Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade, is recognized as the 2ID/RUCD Retention Noncommissioned Officer of the Year at the 2ID/RUCD headquarters on Camp Humphreys, S. Korea, Dec. 19, 2023. They were recognized for their dedication to help keep Soldiers informed and educated when deciding what to do prior to their service contract ending. Their role is essential as they assist in retaining experienced Soldiers and their mission supports readiness, force structure, and sustainability.
