Aircraft simulators in the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, or USAFSAM, building sit empty, ready to be turned into a hospital by medical Airmen for aeromedical evacuation missions. USAFSAM is one of two mission units in the 711th Human Performance Wing, part of the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
