Melissa Stanford, a Special Olympics athlete, bowls for a strike during Cherry Point Commissary’s 6th Annual Special Olympics held outside of the Commissary, Jan. 8. Stanford and the other athletes competed in several events attempting to win prizes that ranged from Marine Corps T-shirts to Nintendo Wiis.
