Photos of Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Sean Brazas, a Naval Base Kitsap sailor who died, May 30, 2012, while conducting combat operations in Panjwa'l, Afghanistan, as an Individual Augmentee, sit below a streetlight on the corner of Randall Way and Kitsap Mall Boulevard in Silverdale, Wash. A gold and blue starred banner sponsored by the NBK Chief Petty Officers Association was hung at the light in honor of Brazas and his widow Yeoman 2nd Class Allie Brazas. The Gold Star Banner Program remembers those who have given the ultimate sacrifice and died while serving and is planned to remain installed indefinitely.
