U.S. Army Lt. Gen. John R. Evans, commanding general of Army North, spoke at the Gold Star Race program dinner on Dec. 01, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. This event was created to support, encourage, and elevate the families of fallen service members through active remembrance. 150 athletes who have healed and found connections in the community trained for and completed challenging endurance events across the country to prepare for the San Antonio Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and Half Marathon.
