    Marine Rotational Force - Southeast Asia

    U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Michael Whaley, a field medical service technician with Marine Rotational Force-Southeast Asia, I Marine Expeditionary Force, disembarks from a voyage on the USNS Millinocket in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines Nov. 21, 2023. The Joint High-Speed Vessel USNS Millinocket was assigned to Destroyer Squadron 7 in U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility, providing logistical solutions to the region’s littorals and provided transportation to MRF-SEA Marine from Subic Bay to Palawan. MRF-SEA is a Marine Corps Forces Pacific operational model which involves planned exchanges with subject matter experts, promotes security goals with Allies and partners, and positions I MEF forces west of the International Date Line.
