Nepali soldiers and trauma actors work together to evacuate a simulated casualty and provide a realistic scenario for Disaster Response Exercise & Exchange (DREE) participants and observers to witness at the Swift Water Search and Rescue demonstration during the 2023 Nepal Disaster Response Exercise & Exchange (DREE) "Unity of Effort VI" in Chitwan, Nepal, Nov. 10, 2023. The 2023 Nepal DREE is part of the continued multilateral engagement of the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) and the Government of Nepal (GON). The DREE is designed to grow and reinforce capacity through Table-Top Exercises (TTXs) and Field Technical Exercises (FTXs) that simulate reality, identify procedural gaps, and practice techniques required for efficient and collaborative response.
