Fifteen high school juniors from Daleville, Carroll, and Ariton HIgh Schools visit the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence, Fort Novosel, Alabama, Nov. 13, 2023, as part of the Dale County Youth Leadership Program. DCYLP is a local non-profit with the mission of building leadership among selected juniors in five high schools in the area. Participants in this visit learned about the Aviation Center's mission, went hands-on with a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, visited the AH-64 Apache flight line, had lunch in the post exchange food court, and flew a UH-27 Lakota helicopter flight simulator.
