Joseph Thompson, a Meteorology and Oceanography section chief, with the Meteorology and Oceanography section of 1st Intelligence Battalion, I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, talks with a 5th grade class at Alamosa Elementary School, Oceanside, California, Nov. 15, 2023. The talk covered how the weather changes and impacts people and the environment. The Marines spent time at the school to share their knowledge and bolster their relationship with the local community.
