After constructing nearly 300 bags of food items, Dallas Mavericks staff, team members and Citizen Airmen from the 136th Airlift Wing, Texas Air National Guard, and 301st Fighter Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, deliver them to awaiting vehicles for a free Thanksgiving meal November 14, 2023. As part of the Department of Defense's Commitment to Service initiative, Hoops for Troops pairs a National Basketball Association team with a local military unit in a joint effort to serve the local community.
