231104-N-DZ642-1065 SAN DIEGO (November 4, 2023) Members of the local community high schools, Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), and Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific staff participate in the 13th annual For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) LEGO League (FLL) Challenge at Eastlake High School, Nov. 4, 2023. The 13th annual For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) LEGO League (FLL) Challenge took place Saturday, Nov. 4. Co-hosted by Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific and Eastlake High School FIRST robotics team TitanBot, this annual competition is part of NAVWAR and NIWC's science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) outreach efforts to engage the community, where more than 50 NAVWAR and NIWC employees volunteered as judges, referees and inspectors.
