Special operations Soldiers from the Republic of Korea Army and the U.S. Army secure an exfiltration route during the exfiltration phase of a realistic combined training event at Rodriguez Live-fire Range, near Pocheon, Republic of Korea, on Nov. 3, 2023. Republic of Korea and U.S. Special Operations personnel conducted a training mission that required planning with unique SOF considerations in mind and the ability to recover a simulated, time-sensitive target. The training event demonstrates the regular engagements that solidify the 70-year history of the ROK-U.S. Alliance and mutual defense priorities in the region. (Republic of Korea Army photo by Cpl.
