Navy Lt. Michael A. Taylor, a 38-year-old chaplain from Philadelphia, assigned to 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines, Regimental Combat Team 5, shows his chaplain's assistant, Lance Cpl. Micah P. Adams, photos of their deployment thus far, March 19, at Command Outpost Hit, Iraq. Adams, a 22-year-old rifleman from Orange County, Calif., initially had trouble adjusting to the job of chaplain's assistant. Since he filled the billet, though, Taylor said he has made vast improvements in his personality to fit his new role.
