The Rock Island District hosted an Industry Day for the proposed 1200' Lock Project at LaGrange Lock & Dam in Versailles, Illinois. This industry day gave potential contractors a chance to see the site and learn about the proposed project design.
As part of the Navigation and Ecosystem Sustainability Program (NESP), the 1200' Lock Project would reduce lockage times, improve mariner safety and provide several other benefits to the navigation industry.
