(FORT MOORE, Ga) - Soldiers with the Maneuver Center of Excellence’s 197th and 198th Infantry Brigades, the 199th Leader Brigade, 316th Cavalry Brigade, and Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade compete in the 2023 Best Squad Competition June 5 through 9 at Fort Moore, Georgia. Squads face a variety of physical and mental tests to include an ACFT, written exam, scenario-based marksmanship event, land navigation, a board appearance, and a squad mission. To win and be named the Fort Moore Best Squad, competitors must be experts in the field and all techniques, tactics and procedures that come along with being a U.S. Army Soldier.
