Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Gary Roughhead administers the oath of office to 35 ROTC graduates at Purdue University in West Lafayette during a Tri-Service Commissioning Ceremony at the university. The Navy's top admiral commissioned 16 Navy Ensigns, 16 Air Force and four Army 2nd Lieutenants. There are 470 students enrolled in ROTC at Purude; 168 are in the Navy ROTC Program.
