Kirk Foster, command sergeant major of 1-187 INF REG, 3 BCT, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), case the unit’s colors in preperation for their upcoming deployment to Europe as part of the units color casing ceromony, Oct. 30, 2023, Fort Campbell Ky.
The colors will remain cased until the unit arrives at their forward location where the commander and command sergeant major will hold a ceremony to uncase the colors.
