JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR HICKAM, Hawaii. (Oct. 12, 2023) – Sailors assigned to Republic of Korea Navy Sea Salvage and Rescue Unit (RoKN SSU) and Mobile Dive and Salvage Unit One (MDSU-1), conduct pre-dive briefs during DIVEX 23. DIVEX 23 is a bilateral diving and salvage subject matter expert exchange between MDSU-1 and RoKN SSU where divers work together to learn each other’s capabilities, improve interoperability through unique and challenging training scenarios, and foster camaraderie as fellow Deep Sea divers.
