Retired Royal Dutch Air Force Lt. Col. Tim Ruijling reads about the history of the 82nd Airborne Division while at the 82nd Airborne Division Museum during his visit to Fort Liberty, N.C., Oct. 18, 2023. During Operation Market Garden, paratroopers with the 82nd Airborne Division crossed the River Whaal in Nijimegen, Netherlands. Ruijling co-founded Sunset March, which is a ceremony that takes place each year to remember this heroic action.
