U.S. Army Spc. Adam Fitzpatrick (fourth from right) competes and wins first place in the Her Excellency, The Governor-General’s Prize, a prestigious rifle match during the Canadian Fullbore Championships, which was held at the Canadian Forces Base Borden in Ontario August 14-19.
The Mount Holly, North Carolina native is the second American servicemember to win the award.
Fitzpatrick is a marksmanship instructor/competitive shooter for the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit Service Rifle Team out of Fort Moore, Georgia.
