231012-N-NO778-1001 EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Oct 12, 2023) Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) prepare for an underway replenishment with Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Medgar Evers (T-AKE-13), in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea on 12 Oct, 2023, while the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60) sails alongside Medgar Evers. Roosevelt is part of the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group and is currently operating in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, at the direction of the Secretary of Defense.
