Command Master Chief Petty Officer Roy M. Maddocks congratulates Army Spec. Peter P. Irungu after becoming a U.S. citizen during a Military Naturalization Ceremony at the U.S. Embassy in Djibouti, March 13. Irungu, a Nairobi, Kenya, native, emmigrated to the United States in January 2004, and joined the Army eight months later. Irungu, who now calls Malden, Mass., home, is a supply specialist for 1st Battalion, 3rd Infantry, Delta Company. His unit is deployed from Fort Myer, Va.
