Timothy Warneke, a native of San Diego, California, and a platoon sergeant for Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, practices rope techniques prior to rappelling during the Helicopter Rope Suspension Techniques (HRST) Master Course at Stone Bay, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Oct. 5, 2023.
