U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) (26MEU(SOC)) conduct an urban terrain force-on-force training event during a Bahrain bilateral training exercise, undisclosed location in the Middle East, Sept. 10, 2023. The training was completed alongside members of the Royal Bahrain Marine Force to facilitate the exchange of tactics, techniques and procedures between partners. Components of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and 26MEU(SOC) are deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to increase ensure maritime security and stability in the Middle East region.
