230918-N-ZZ999-1002 BROOKE’S POINT, Philippines (Sept. 18, 2023) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 stand in ranks with U.S. Marines of the 7th Engineer Support Battalion (ESB) and Philippine Navy Seabees of the 3rd Naval Combat Engineer Battalion (NCEB) during the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new two-room schoolhouse building at Carlos. M. Virrey National High School. NMCB 3 is the lead element in the construction with support from the 7th ESB, 3NCEB, and Philippine Marine Corps Marine Battalion Landing Team 4. NMCB 3 is forward-deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction for the U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection. The battalion stands ready to complete assigned tasking, support humanitarian aid/disaster relief, and major combat operations throughout the area of operations.
