Sgt. Sagen Maddalena represented the USA at the 2023 International Shooting Sports Federation World Championship was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, Aug. 14 - Sept. 1. As a part of the USA Shooting Team, the Groveland, California native won the Bronze Medal in Women’s 50m Three-Position Rifle (Smallbore). Maddalena is a marksmanship instructor/competitive shooter with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit International Rifle Team out of Fort Moore, Georgia.
