NORFOLK, Va. (Sept. 11, 2023) – Yeoman 1st Class Keturah Milford, left, and Personnel Specialist 1st Class Christopher Schmidt, both selected for advancement to the rank of chief petty officer, assigned to Commander, Navy Reserve Forces Command (CNRFC), prepare to raise the national ensign on the 22nd anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. CNRFC is the Navy Reserve headquarters responsible for readiness, oversight, manpower management, logistics, financial management, mobilization and training of nearly 60,000 Sailors in executing operational support and warfighting missions.
