    Don Ferricks, a retired master sergeant from the Illinois Air National Guard's 183rd Fighter Wing and a long-time Illinois State Military Museum volunteer, shows equipment and uniform items used by the Illinois National Guard throughout its 300 year history at the Illinois State Military Museum in Springfield, Saturday, September 9. Soldiers from the Illinois Army National Guard 122nd Field Artillery Regiment, 123rd Field Artillery Regiment, and volunteer historical reenactors were at the museum to discuss and answer questions about the 105mm Howitzer, 155mm Howitzer, and cannons used during the Civil War.
