U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Jared Johnson, 36th Fighter Generation Squadron assistant dedicated crew chief, monitors an F-16 Fighting Falcon’s afterburner at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 7, 2023. During these maximum power checks, the F-16 engine is pushed to in-flight performance levels to troubleshoot any potential complications or failures.
