Marines with Alpha Company, 7th Communication Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, set up communication site Anthill during Ulchi Freedom Shield 23 on Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 23, 2023. Alpha Company was deployed to conduct training focused on the refinement of their capabilities in dispersed communication as part of Ulchi Freedom Shield 23. The purpose of the exercise is to strengthen the U.S.-Republic of Korea Alliance, enhance our combined defense posture, and promote security and stability on the Korean Peninsula.
