The Directorate of Public Works on Hunter Army Airfield clears fallen trees and debris from Rio Rd. after Hurricane Idalia, Aug. 31. Overall, damage to the installation was minimal and normal operations were scheduled to resume Friday, Sept. 1. "The local threat of Hurricane Idalia has passed with recovery operations well underway," said Travis Mobley, HAAF deputy garrison commander. "Thanks to all our installation teammates, service members and families for the preparation and support throughout."
