Soldiers from the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (Honor Guard) provide full military honors during a funeral for U.S. Army Pfc. Arthur C. Barrett at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington D.C., Aug. 30, 2023. Barrett was a member of the 31st Infantry Regiment when Japanese forces invaded the Philippine Islands in December 1941.
