JECC members and II MEF Marines check in at II MEF headquarters to participate in the Joint Task Force (JTF) FORMEVT aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Aug. 23, 2023. JTF FORMEVT continues II MEF’s progress toward being a newly certified JTF command element, while educating the MEF Staff on both broad and specialized joint doctrine in order to improve II MEF’s warfighting abilities and effectively execute a wide range of potential missions as a JTF-C HQ.
