Gen. Glen VanHerck, Commander, North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, speaks with members from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency as well as industry leaders at the NORAD and USNORTHCOM headquarters on Peterson Space Force Base, Colo., Aug. 22, 2023. The group, consisting of Mr. Nitin Natarajan, Deputy Director of CISA, numerous defense leaders, industry presidents, vice presidents, and chief executive officers, was welcomed to the headquarters by Lt. Gen. A.C. Roper, Deputy Commander, USNORTHCOM. Discussions saw the more than 40 members speak on topics to include the global security environment, military and community alignment and continuity of communications during crises, and the Commands’ strategic principles of domain awareness, decision superiority, and global integration.
