Ed Vezey, a Pearl Harbor survivor, attends the USS Oklahoma Memorial Ceremony on Ford Island during the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. Vezey was stationed on the USS Oklahoma during the attacks on Pearl Harbor 71 years ago. Visitors, including Pearl Harbor survivors and other veterans, attended the National Park Service and U.S. Navy-hosted joint memorial ceremony marking the 5th Anniversary of the USS Oklahoma Memorial on Ford Island, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The memorial is in tribute to 429 Marines and Sailors who lost their lives aboard the USS Oklahoma at Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7, 1941.
