Col. Elizabeth Mathias, Director, Public Affairs, North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, welcomed Mr. Chris Meagher, Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, to the NORAD and USNORTHCOM headquarters Aug. 14, 2023, where he attended an operations and intelligence meeting then spoke with Gen. Glen VanHerck, Commander, NORAD and USNORTHCOM. He also received mission briefings on the Commands and how their missions fit into the National Defense Strategy and led guided discussions with NORAD and USNORTHCOM and USSPACECOM participants before visiting with the USSPACECOM PA team.
