Sgt. Alison Weisz, a marksmanship instructor/competitive shooter with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, will compete in the 2023 International Shooting Sports Federation World Championship in Baku, Azerbaijan August 14 - September 1 as part of USA Shooting’s 40 athlete-team.
The Belgrade, Montana native will compete in Women's 10m Air Rifle. Weisz already won the United States an Olympic Quota in Women's 10m Air Rifle at a previous World Championship in Egypt when she claimed the Gold Medal. She also competed at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo as part of Team USA.
