U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) Midshipmen return from a flight aboard a U.S. Marine Corps UH-1Y Venom with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 367, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, during the final event of the MIDN Summer Program on Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 9, 2023. Midshipmen visited HMLA-367 as the culminating event of the six-week period of USNA Professional Training of Midshipmen for third class students. The goal of the 2023 Midshipmen summer training program is to further the professional development of USNA students by familiarizing them with Naval and Marine Corps operational forces.
