Vice Adm. Michael E. Boyle, commander, U.S. 3rd Fleet, boards a MH-60S Seahawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 6, in preparation to visit the Zumwalt-class guided-missile destroyer USS Michael Monsoor (DDG 1001). HSC-6 provides vertical lift search and rescue, logistics, anti-surface warfare, special operations forces support, and combat search and rescue capabilities. U.S. 3rd Fleet works together with our allies and partners to advance freedom of navigation, the rule of law and other principles that underpin security for the Indo-Pacific region.
