    New piping has been replaced connecting the hot and cold-water underground pipe loop to the main plant, which provides heating and cooling to the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The Kansas City District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is currently working on several renovations to the USDB. Renovations began in October 2020, and are expected to be complete later this year.
