Col. Mike Leonas, the commander of the 64th Air Expeditionary Wing, and Chief Master Sgt. Sal Urbano, the 64 AEW senior enlisted leader, were invited to attend the ceremony marking the 82nd anniversary of La Fuerza Aerea del Peru July 21, 2023, at Chiclayo Air Base, Peru. The ceremony comes at the end of Patriot Fury 23, a U.S. Air Force Reserve led exercise that saw the all-Reserve 64 AEW partner with FAP to fly close air support and combat search and rescue training missions.
